Jillian Rotman
Jillian Rotman, Esq. is a versatile attorney who enjoys representing clients in family and criminal law matters. A lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, Jillian graduated from The Episcopal Academy and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ursinus College, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a class salutatorian. While at Ursinus, she was a student-athlete competing in collegiate indoor and outdoor track and field, was inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and was a member of Ursinus College Hillel.
Jillian received her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and Co-President of the Family Law Society. She was recognized for her legal writing skills as the recipient of the Second-Best Appellate Brief in the 64th Annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition. During law school, she served as a student attorney representing clients in immigration matters, held multiple research assistant positions, and worked as a legal extern in the pro bono department of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Jillian maintains a strong interest in, and passion for, animal law and nonprofit work involving animal rescue and welfare.
Her legal experience also includes clerking for a judge in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division, which deepened her interest in criminal law. She also worked as a law clerk and intake specialist at a prominent plaintiff-side personal injury firm. During law school, she externed with Miller Turetsky Rule & McLennan and joined the firm following graduation, where she continues to build her practice.
